I’m Max Gilley, and I founded COMO Fly Co to share my passion for fly fishing and inspire others to explore the beauty of Central Missouri’s outdoors.

My journey began nearly 20 years ago in the Missouri Trout Parks, where I first fell in love with the art of fly fishing. Over the past decade, my career in commercial horticulture supplies allowed me to travel and fish some incredible waters across North Carolina, Louisiana, California, Oregon, and Nevada. Yet, nothing compares to the serenity and beauty of the Ozark streams I call home.
